A photograph is a picture created using a camera. A snapshot is an informal photograph taken quickly. Photographs take time while snapshots do not. The top two are photographs because you can see that they are detailed and thought out. The bottom two are snapshots because the first was takin while someone was in a car and the second was any old picture of that town.
